Age: 14

Setting:
Hemlock Grove is Twin Peaks with horror in it.
No, that's actually a gross simplification. Hemlock Grove, like every small town is actually just that, a small town with secrets. It has it's own entry in the TV tropes archive but you may as well call it Twin Peaks, or Night vale, or any of the other dozens of small towns that inhabit the popular subconscious. Knowing this, you know that we go into a place where things are going to get weird and unusual. It's going to be strange, but it's going to follow a certain pattern and a certain story line that's common to most small towns.
Except Night Vale, but that's a whole other basket of kittens.
In the small town trope inevitably there are going to be people who have secrets. While Christina is no exception, you have to start at the top - like you do in most towns. At the top are the Godfreys, the unofficial town royalty. The parents had a typical town royalty falling out (their children are unusual) they have a typical town royalty secret (dad is dead by his own hand, mom may not be human) and they own the typical town royalty buildings (an abandoned steel mill as well as a pharmacutical tower known as "The White Tower" purely because their lights never go out.) They also own a mental hospital.
The town exists happily beneath these Godfreys until their peaceful town ways are disrupted by two things. A romani arrival and a murder. In their minds the two events are linked and the Rumancheck family - the "Gypsies" (apologies). is guilty of the murders of five women - one every new moon. The irony is that the Rumancheck family, Peter, his mother, and his cousin - also harbor the typical "outsider in a new town" secrets. Namely that Peter is the grandson of a seventh son of a seventh son. Also known as a werewolf. Unbearably attractive, desperate for freedom, toss in a town looking for a scapegoat and you have the makings of an interesting story. That's where Christina comes in. As a budding writer she is all about seeking out experience.

Suite: Christina belongs in the earth, therefore she's an earth child and an earth suite sort of girl. Not only would it feel calming and soothing to her personally, but it would probably be good for "The wolf" as well.

[There's a teenage girl on the monitors. That's not unusual, perhaps there are teenage girls here all the time. What is unusual is that her hair is white. Stark white.]
“Have you seen a leaf, a leaf from a tree?"
There are leaves on the trees here. [she inhales] And trees. Such trees! And you want to run, and run, and run but it's so small. It's my town in miniature and I...
[her breathing is labored, she shakes her head] It's not good. It's not good. I'm sorry, I was wrong. I ...I misquoted. That was from Dostoyevsky. He was a writer. That's what I do. I write.
I wanted experience. I guess that's what this is all about right? Experience? Seems fast.
[she laughs brightly] But I've never shied away from change.
My name is Christina. [Her smile is a little too wide] ...what's your name? Names. Where will I have to go to school? Will I have to go to school? I'm only 13.
I have a lot of questions I guess.
So you guys could tell me ...whatever you want to tell me I guess. I'll listen.
[And she sits back, almost like a dog - less like a girl and more like a dog, waiting. Intent.]
